I loved the star constellation chart, so looked through my photos for one with a lot of sky. I added to this a layer of Japanese paper texture in shades of blue and purple. This is *so much fun*!
I sent a note to friends in Nova Scotia requesting the use of old letters/envelopes from that area & already got some positive feedback. One friend even has a very old hotel registration book; imagine the beautiful signatures! I'm already set with some projects for next summer! (No time to be bored!)

This is awesome. I'm just beginning to think I should play with some of this stuff more. You're definitely contributing to the inspiration for that. You rock!
You are rocking these textures. Whoops... I am late to the "rocking" compliment. Never mind - an excellent, inspirational result. So nice! Better on black.
@rosiekerr Well, you probably saw that I've never been told that before, so I take some delight in it! Thank you for the kind words...and I never thought about the black backdrop, but it really helps!

You all surprised me this evening with your kind remarks and faves... We leave on a trip Saturday, the backyard is still a shambles (though moving forward) and unless you want to see my packed suitcase, I took no photos. I used the time instead to "play" and I see some more possibilities in the weeks ahead with some new photos! Thanks you all...and Aloha :)
@skipt07 Thank you Skip! It stands in a sand dune by a beautiful beach up the coast in Carpinteria, California. I think it's pretty iconic in the area...I love it, too!
