One of the feral yard cats was looking in the back window at me, so I stepped out to feed her and was amazed at how bright it was. If you also live in a sprawling urban area, you recognize what happens when the clouds hang low over the city. In this instance, I just put my camera on auto as I didn't want to fiddle with all the dials. It's no sensation, but I'm pretty stoked that I've just posted a photo on the day it was taken (at almost 10 PM)!
...and now I'm calling it a night. I'm still sleep deprived, but I'm about back on schedule!
Hey, you're back on schedule!! At least you are closer to me, and I will be working my way up your way this weekend! So, the cats missed you, too! ;-))
All that travel across time zones. I don't know how you do it. ;-) My photo class often had us shooting long exposure after sundown. It's amazing how much light is actually available despite what the human eye perceives.
