The picture of relaxation and contentment...
I'll get to that soon myself one day!
Actually, while we're out & indulging ourselves in a last music venue (fabulous chamber music with piano accompaniment ), the Father Christmas makeover of Mahone Bay all weekend, just down the road, and packaging gifts for all our friends & dropping by for last visits, we're as busy as ever, but completely loving the holiday season! You can't imagine how we'll miss being here for the remainder of the year!
Thank you for the time you've taken to leave me notes and comments...you KNOW I think you're all amazing and dear friends. You WILL see me again, and far more often in the new year. And if I don't hear from you here, I know you're busy enjoying the holidays as well...as it should be!
Hugs and love, ♥ Louise
I was just thinking of you and Ken last night and hoping that you are enjoying your last few days here. I'm happy to see that you have not slowed down and are continuing to enjoy life to it's fullest. Best wishes for a safe trip home. Big hug! N. :)
@novab Oh thanks Nova! I actually can't wait to see you next spring on our return! It's a tough one to have to break from here...write and tell me how miserable it is in the dead of winter so I won't feel so bad! Going to a Rotary flea market at 9, so we're off and running in a moment! Glad it was you who dropped by! ♥ I'll keep in touch!
@novab Would you like to bring your daughter and meet us in Mahone Bay tomorrow (Sunday)? We hear the venue at Shuttles and Seawinds is beyond amazing! Call or leave me a message!
ah, you're still ensconced in the paradise aren't you? makes me want to hop on a flight to halifax and spend the weekend in lunenburg. but i would have to wait until next year to see you and ken and nova. i won't wish you happy holidays yet as i know we will be in touch when you go back to CA. enjoy yourselves and have a safe trip back to the states. we'll see each other when we see each other. ♥♥♥
Safe travels across the country! We missed you a lot and you would have loved the sky during our meetup! This is a wonderful holiday shot to capture the feeling of calm before the storm.
Greatand very creative title. This photo looks like a painting. Beautiful. Love that Kitty is so photogenic. The photo would make a wonderful jigsaw puzzle. You're coming back to the States before Christmas???
At least your cat is sitting contentedly by the tree, ours like to bat the bottom decorations. Safe journey to home number one as Nova Scotia sounds like home number two
@bill_fe Oh Bill. it was gorgeous! Yes...tons of photos! The last 5 days running (right through the present, 12 hours before we shut the door behind us) we've had dinner and parties with friends...zero time for photos...I upload and have no time to look at them yet. I know they'll be good...will send some when we settle. And I haven't forgotten you asked the question about medical care here... soon, Bill, soon... ♥
Lovely Christmas shot and feelings. I did expected you`re to busy with all the things you`re doing so I side step a while until live becomes more regular. No problem.
Merry Christmas Louise, what a sweet photo of your cat in front of the christmas tree! Is your cat a traveler as well?
Hope you don't miss the snow! :)
@radiogirl Dinah was "just a neighbourhood cat" when I housed her all summer. A neighbour asked if she could adopt her, so she's not got a Forever Home and I'm likely to continue seeing her next year. She was just the best; we miss her!
@hbdaly ...I had to see if you were one who suggested here that I make this into a puzzle... I did, actually, and had it sent to a Lunenburg friend. Looks somewhat innocent, but I see the challenge in it (without being downright demonic!)
Hope you don't miss the snow! :)
