Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens

High above the town and away from the beach lie these beautiful gardens and walking trails. After the rains, the California Poppies, lavender and Canyon Grey Sagebrush mingle to carpet the valley floor!

We stopped into the gift shop for a birthday gift for our grandson. He'd admired one that Ken wore, so we came to get another just like it for him as he's about to turn 12.
