I awoke at sun-up and went out on the deck to see what sort of view we had...how great is this?! I'm not typically up at this hour of the morning, but what a reward for doing so!
What makes this island so unique is the lack of trees or shrubs around the houses. It's stark, but beautiful.
When everyone was up, we went for a long walk on the beach and the water was surprisingly warm. (At a later time, we saw a man wading out quite a distance and we could see the ocean was shallow.)
