The Question... by Weezilou

The Question...

I'm still on the fence about this new camera we bought last week...parts of it are so sensitive it takes too long to get the settings I want... So I'm out back this afternoon playing with it, and I switched it to "Toy Camera" filter to take pictures of hydrangea. Along comes the hummingbird, so in order to get a picture of her, I use what I'm working with. When I showed Ken the pictures I'd taken, I said (maybe too excitedly) that I'd used the "Toy Camera" setting. He looks at the pictures and asks, "So why are we spending that kind of money on a camera that takes pictures like they came out of a toy camera?"

I hate it when he uses that kind of logic...
Louise, some logic is just not logical when it comes to creative shots! I think the toy camera is fun for this shot...I am amazed how well you captured this hummingbird. They are active little birds! I am glad you are playing with the settings!

LOL, that is the man in us coming out. Now the fun will be exploring and playing with all the settings.

Leave it to logic to burst your bubble :) It's still a great shot, hummingbirds are not an easy capture.

That's funny. Always the engineer. Reminds me of the joke about the threesome of golfers following a bunch of duffers who hit the ball all over the place and proceed on each hole extremely slowly. The threesome being held up is told by the marshal that they are firemen who answered a call when the clubhouse caught fire. They saved countless women and children and bravely tried to save the clubhouse, but unfortunately lost their site when they crashed through the roof. As a gesture of thanks the club allowed them to play as a blind foursome anytime they wanted for no cost. The group suddenly felt sorrow and the priest in the threesome said he would pray for them, and the eye doctor among the three said he'd be happy to offer them free eye care for life. The engineer in the group asked, "Why don't they play at night?"

Did you ever thought about woman logic ? Incomprehensible . At least for me. I lost hope to understand long time ago. But that`s what makes living together exciting. ( Ina say) And making pic.`s fun.
Love this capture anyhow .
