When Shutterfly offers specials, I go off the grid until I complete my projects! I'd mentioned I'd be AWOL doing this & amongst the comments, there was an expression of interest in the atypical way I make them. A couple of years ago, I made one for myself & filled in every date, never intending to actually write on it. Daughter, Ashley, had me make her a similar one last year and loived it so much, her husband asked me to make her another for her Jan 30th birthday. She likes "a few" white spaces, so that's hers on the left. Other daughter, Heather, asked me to make one for Bodhi since he's always wanting to know when things are going to happen. She thought he needed space to have things written down or attached, but no one says the spaces *have to be* white! (I have to comment on his two faces with "beards". Top/lower left on his calendar, he came out of his room after his nap * & he had covered his face with chalk dust (or something like that...) On a later date, he applied the beard (Top/Ctr) with magic marker!!! I'm sot sure how long he wore that, but I'm *still* laughing! (Oh, and his suitable t-shirt is made with a name tag designed on it that says, "Prince Charming"!) ROFL!
Any wonder I didn't have time to make my own "Grandma & Papa Calendar"... ...so I ordered one of each of theirs :)
Love what you've done. I am also a Shutterfly calendar enthusiast and make them every Christmas to send to a few select friends and family members. It is so much fun preparing them and I use photos I've posted here on 365.
Cute idea. Linda made me a calendar a year ago for 2014 with one of my daily photos from each month as the photo for that month.l Guess I should do it again for this year. Just haven't done so.
