Magical moments before leaving the beach this morning! Upon walking on to the sand from the parking area, I took a photo of a lady sitting in this chair. As we were leaving she rose also, so I asked if I might sit in the chair for a photo, the chair being an incongruous beach item...
"It's not *my* chair', she said. "It belongs to the beach."
I drug it out to give it a fitting placement...a photo opportunity this good couldn't be passed up! (Ask me how happy I am that I'm not living in Buffalo today!)
Oh, how fabulous is that?!! It is beyond incongruous, it is almost surreal to see you sitting in an upholstered wooden armchair at the beach!! Sure, it belongs there she said.... Well, I must say, you don't need a TV to watch from that vantage point! This made my day....;-))) FAV!....as I run off to take Karma to the vet after a long day punctuated by a AAA emergency call to recharge my battery because I left my lights on after driving in the fog this morning!
@panthora "Surreal" was exactly what I was thinking as I set it up, and again when saw the image! What a hoot! AGAIN...*no one* at the beach!
Hoping Karma's visit is a well-check...and I ran down a battery before leaving Lunenburg... We're busy ladies...no time to attend to *every* detail! Best to you and Karma!
@teiko Thanks, Emilie...it would have been the proper touch! Had we not been on out way out of town, and if I thought the chair might still be there when we're back next week, I could have a lot a fun expanding on this!
It belongs to the beach? I wonder how long it will stay there without being "borrowed"? Or getting washed out to sea? You guys are funny, you know that?!! Good pix of Ken too, by the way!!!
Tell me, Weezi, how glad are you that you don't live in Buffalo? You (and Ken) look like you're positively suffering through these shots. I appreciate the depth of your conviction to your art!
This IS a fabulous capture!! WOW what a find. I was thinking that it was an odd type of chair for a beach....I wonder who cares for it? A lovely "selfie" of you and you do look very happy to right where you are...as I would be!! Love that you included the footprints in the sand.
Louise, I have been challenged by my 365 friend Gena (@eyesmile) to post landscapes for the next three days and to challenge three other 365ers to do the same. I am challenging you to now take up the challenge and challenge three others each day to do the same. Your photos don't have to have been taken today.
Hoping Karma's visit is a well-check...and I ran down a battery before leaving Lunenburg... We're busy ladies...no time to attend to *every* detail! Best to you and Karma!
