On cool mornings & evenings, a fire is built in the dining hall of the school where our SIL teaches. I arrived near closing time, so I took a coveted seat nearby. I *had to have* some photos, so gathered both a bowl or oranges and apples for this image. Oranges won!
Later in the morning, standing outside cheering on our grandsons' Trike-a-Thon, it got positively warm (but Allie doesn't want me to talk about that...)
Love the bokeh! And the idea of a cozy fire at school. We had a fireplace in our old library but it didn't make the transition to our more recent construction.
Well there's the very definition of still life. Reflective light on the oranges, rule of thirds, soft bokeh background - so glad you used the big gun on this shot. Another fav!
@stray_shooter My humble appreciation, Ron...thank you! I confess, I'm LOVING this camera again! It 's weighty for a long trip, but I can count on it at times like this!
Beautiful! Really well captured.....they look like you could reach out and touch them,,,,and, that cutie looks good enough to eat.....love the blurry fire in the background, too.
