The Book of Knowledge by Weezilou

The Book of Knowledge

My title comes from a set of books that were my father's as a child and which came down to me. They're beautiful and timeless. Before leaving for home, we took our coffee and sat awhile in this lovely old library. There are tables to sit at and study, as well as couches and overstuffed chairs for curling up with a good read, even beside the fireplace. As we were leaving, I saw, for the first time, this quote hanging by the door. I'd never thought of books and reading that way, but how true it is, and I knew it would strike a chord with many of you as well.
So true! Great shot and quote!

You say "leaving for home" Are they in your daughter's home now? Lovely bookcase and books, and I have read Clarence Day's quote.

Love the quote, love books, love the looks of that inviting library.
