The winter weather couldn't have been lovelier...
We loved the easy access to our trees, loaded with avocados & citrus fruit...
We have friends whose company we enjoy immensely...
We were delighted with the completed back yard where we've entertained for the past few months...
We love Southern California for the same reasons over 3 million people love it as well...
It's now just become too much trouble to fight the freeway traffic to go anywhere...
...and when you get there, there are no parking places...
@novab I *always* request the window, and I usually know which side of the plane provides the best view of the city! I'm so happy to be back (as of Friday) and can't wait to see you again! We're meeting friends at their ship in the morning to bring them to Lunenburg for the day...our first guests!

Aha! I spy a golf course lower left, so it can't be all bad. Understand your aversion to busy roads though, one of my pet hates and one of the reasons I don't live in Melbourne. Look forward to some shots from Lunenburg.

I totally agree Louise! I'm enjoying it less and less. On weekends I have to go early in morning for photos and then leave when the area gets too crowded. Plus the hideous parking problems. Oh well, everything else is good. Looking forward to Lunenburg photos! So far away from the madness.
