OK...not an exciting-looking photo, but we'd waited 3 hours for this moment, and quite possibly you'll hear or read about this schooner as she sails the seas, skippered by her owner, Francesco Nanni. I was impressed with him and the talk he gave before the launch, and I think he has the passion and wherewithal to make an impact on the plastic pollution in the oceans.

@pyrrhula Oh, that IS a beautiful boat, isn't it? Imagine how lovely it will look when the masts and sails go up! Good for your local student! When it so great that people begin to notice it, it's easy to imagine how terrible the situation has become! I see it as the next big movement in coming years!
