Lovely! I saw the moon rising this evening and it was gorgeous. Didn't have my camera. And I was driving (to a cross fit class - boy am I sore - silly New Year resolutions to get in shape), so no moon picture for me.
@kaldara I had a similar but different set up tonight! I was just leaving a Physical Therapy session (!) and Ken spotted the moon coming up! There was a phone pole and wires in the way, so we jumped in the car and dashed to a huge shopping center that was more open! Any other time (when we're in CA) we're unlikely to be out and I'd have missed it! Stay with the cross-fit...good for you! You'll need that good health when you're older!

Gorgeous! That moon is so round i have a crazy desire to paint a smiley face on it. I hope to get a picture even a fraction as good tonight, as it's supposed to be clear here and there's snow.
