Everything's Rosie, Thank You! by Weezilou

Everything's Rosie, Thank You!

Posh always comes through with overflowing cuteness! She's the only squirrel I've seen around here with puffy little cheeks (and not just when she's eating!) Instead of a floral bouquet, I was taken with this lovely little rose bush , and anticipated the little gal might look awfully sweet alongside it.

I no longer see the little male squirrels. She must have issued a dictate that this is her domain :

The flower is beautiful -- but the adorable squirrel is quite obviously the focus of attention! Nice pic!

@dsp2 Thanks, Dinah! I find her quite irresistible, and best of all, she doesn't mind my presence as I take pictures of her.

How clever of this gal to realize that her beauty is enhanced by posing near the roses. I must say she is a healthy specimen. So many squirrels have stringy tails or scrawny bodies. She must have a great maintenance staff!

Posh is so tame! She's really a cutie. Love your miniature rose bush, it's lovely.

She is beautiful and this is enhanced by the lovely rose bush Fav

I'm envious of your squirrels :) But I guess I have to be happy with our cute ring tail possums :) fav

Sweet capture :)

@gilbertwood That is correct, Denise! I looked to see postings from others and I'm reminded again just how adorable they are!

@allie912 "High Maintainance" at that, but SO deserving!

@louannwarren Several years ago, we had Frosty who would run up to us and eat from my hand. It was a sad, dry spell until the newbies began to come around. Posh now is very recognizable and I love that she's fearless!

@rosiekind I thought of you as I wrote that title ♥ ; ) Like you, she's a sweet and gentle friend...

Lovely shot

A beautiful image with Posh posing in front of the delicate rose. She really is a beauty and has gorgeous colouring. She looks like a mix of our grey squirrel and native red squirrel. Fav!

@Weezilou You say the nicest things Louise

OK, so this one's not edited? Only half kidding. Great composition and detail!

@stray_shooter Could ... but didn't ... Thanks....

I have dozens just like this. She's quite happy with a camera trained on her!

Uber-cute.

@golftragic ♥ : ) I love her fat little cheeks. I've never seen them on a squirrel before!
February 11th, 2017
@Weezilou Neither have I, but then I've never seen a squirrel.
February 11th, 2017
@golftragic wow...to think we have an animal that would be a rarity in Amazing Australia! It's like when Pam Knowler visited me in NS, she couldn't wait to photograph a raccoon! They're a dime-a-dozen up there!
February 11th, 2017
@Weezilou I've never seen a racoon either! We don't have them here, so no Davey Crockett hats.
February 11th, 2017
@golftragic ...pains me to recall now that my brother had one...we were about 8. Poor raccoons probably didn't see that trend coming!

Don't we all like some flowers on the table while we dine? Cute shot!
February 11th, 2017
:-) A table for one!

Great shot of the nice roses and cute squirrel.

Wonderful puffy cheeks, very cute.

very pretty. Perhaps her cheeks are stretched from putting too many nuts in her mourh

Such a lovely image.
