Pink was born in this back yard to a feral mom (whom we still look after), and we took her in to be a house cat. She loves to get out once in a while, and she certainly looks wonderful in that setting! She'll be 14 this summer, and she's beginning to sport a couple while whiskers, a sign of her age I suppose.
Someone always asks... Her's is a literary name about a black cat from the AA Milne poem, "Pinkle Purr"
She is gorgeous! A beautiful black cat who looks very much like my old black tom cat Marlon. I loved him so much and he lived to 18 years. So sad when he died! Love the setting Pink is sitting in! Fav!
She too is beautiful, Louise! Great shot of her eyes in a lovely backdrop and setting! Kitties look so content in the garden. Black animals are so hard to photograph but she looks purr-fect! Well done!
She is so beautiful. I love her stately pose, oh those eyes! She's so lucky she was born in your yard. I have a friend in New York who has a 27 year old cat, so who knows, Sweet Ol' Pink may be here a long time! Love, love the background too, it has your "touch" for sure!
@louannwarren Thank you Lou Ann! I HAD to make a comment as I'm blown away by the age of your friend's cat! I've worked twice for vets in years past, and a *really old* cat might reach 21! That's a Guinness Record Book kitty!!!
They found her as a small kitten starving on the street by their apartment 27 years ago. Every time I talk to them I ask and yes Kitty is still going strong. Linda is a homeopathic healer so there's no telling what lovely healthy concoctions she has cooked up for that sweet feline!
