Time to go

This is the same garter snake. It decided the safest retreat was back through the grass toward the bushes. It meandered for a few moments, but when it realized I was still watching it quickly disappeared.

I would certainly agree with the tile wonderful close up though that alert look in the eyes spells danger to me : superb image
