get pushed silhouette 1

Charles pushed me to photograph a monochrome silhouette this week. By using back button focus and choosing the light from the shutter button I think I've figured out how to get a sharp silhouette. Now I need to work on what to use for a silhouette. This evening I went with the electrical poles because I thought the sky added some interest. I think I might try one of the windmills before the week is out. Would really really like to get a person, but that might be a bucket list shot.
Charles @zosimasy ... Here's my first attempt at a monochrome silhouette image. I converted it to b&w in Lightroom and then edited it in Silver Efex and changed the tone. What do you think? I am hoping to try and get a windmill later in the week which would make the silhouette more prominent.

Fantastic picture and perspective.

This is lovely - a row of telegraph poles stretching out into the distance like this makes a great photograph, and the silhouettes work really well. I'd love to see your windmill attempt if you get one!
