Our little Merry is home with an expensive designer haircut and a clean bill of health. All of her blood work and ultrasound findings were normal. It must have been a gastrointestinal issue?? Her weight loss is probably from all the diet changes and maybe some effects from the meds. The vet said that has not been her experience with the drug and cats, but she doesn't have many taking it. Merry did have an increased appetite when she was on the steroid, and the vet said that was not a common reaction as well.
That shaved wedge goes under her tummy with a matching wedge on the other side too. The stress dandruff is a nice touch as well, a sweet cinnamon roll with sugar on top. We are as relieved as she is horrified. She has eaten and is now watching chipmunks, rabbits and birds through the front piazza screens.
I'm also happy to report that my eye exam was perfect as well. 20/20 vision(at 71) with weak readers needed for computer work and reading. No change in the freckles in the eye, all a relief. I'm exhausted with a lighter wallet but so happy.

Fantastic news all around! Merrys' new do highlights her lush, beautiful coat! Her sugar on top is just the added touch of fairy dust but I won't tell her that. I am relieved for you all. Yay!!! (still sending good juju to you all)
