October rainbow challenge - Week 2: Manmade World - Tuesday: Orange (or terracotta actually)
A nice brick feature on the roof of an Edwardian terrace is sunlit this morning.
Odd day - strangely coincidental but both my old boss and my new boss announced they were leaving the department today. Great news for them both - but, in the case of my new boss, leaves us in a bit of uncertainty as to who we'll get to replace her.
Then as I was leaving work, seemed to get a bit of a dicky tummy - and wondered if I'd be able to do my violin class and music session this evening. Went along to the violin class as it's only up the road - and felt a lot better after that, so Dave dropped me off at the session. So a nice evening of music-making (well not during the violin class actually, it being my second lesson - will I ever get used to the sound of cats caterwauling I wonder?).
another good texture shot and the light and colour gorgeous. I've been playing the viola 33 years and i'm sure i only sound a teeny bit better than when I started!!
@boxplayer you know most viola players are failed violinists....?? LOL (I played violin for 5 years before switching!) it makes a better sound than a violin and that's my excuse anyway!!
@sparkle ha ha that'll be me then - but seriously, I prefer the lower register and like playing harmonies/counter melodies more than the main tune (well I do singing anyway)
