October rainbow challenge - Week 3: Transport - Wednesday: Yellow
A zippy, yellow moped in Great Marlborough Street.
Since I've been doing this food/exercise diary/calorie counting thing, I'm much more aware funnily enough of when I'm not eating as well as I should or too much. Feeling rather bleurgh and bloated at the moment.
Had a veggie sos roll for lunch with lots of salad, which was ostensibly quite healthy, but boy are there a lot of calories in that pastry. Then there was the (very small) slice of Victoria sponge brought in by Emily who's off on maternity leave. Plus the large glass of wine Fiona bought me by accident (instead of the small I'd asked for) at the lunchtime drinks for Emily's leaving.
Then of course I met Andy C, Rich and Juliette at the Photographers' Gallery to see the Tom Wood exhibition. Which was all very jolly, as was all the random piccie taking perched on bins and what have you in the maelstrom that is Oxford Circus - but of course that ended with food too, some rather indifferent fish goujons and chips at the usually very nice Parcel Yard in King's Cross. And the Discover golden ale.
However, I have apparently offset all the extra calories by all the walking I did to get to the gallery and then around Oxford Circus and then on to King's Cross. So that's fine then.
Wow a really colourful, vibrant month!! Love this citric yellow....Lady Penelope's pink car is in Tesco's carpark in Tenterden if you are down this way!!! Calorie counting is sooo boring and so difficult if you have a life!! which you do!!
I am just now getting caught up looking at photos after arriving home. I am so sorry we did not connect this trip. I came with my good friend Doug and we had every moment booked. I also caught a bronchial infection and spent one day at the health care center getting antibiotics!!
My next trip we will need to go out and have dinner. @boxplayer
@boxplayer I went to Zafash 24 Hour Pharmacy / Dr Referral on Old Brompton Rd. The Dr was very unusual and wanted to talk politics first and then help me. Ha! I did get the drugs I needed to start feeling better. I did miss seeing Singing in The Rain, but my friend said it was just an ok show so I did not miss much! I did go to the Photographers Gallery. I did like the Shoot exhibit! I agree with Andy the Woods show was OK. Street is so subjective!
