What a great cushion. We used to have an armadillo 'basket' in our house. An aunt, who went to work in Argentina, brought it back in the twenties. We were always fascinated by it, as children, but it was quite horrible really as the basket was the curved back of the armadillo, and its head and feet were part of the top of the basket. It was lined with navy silk, which technically enabled you to use it as a handbag/basket as there was also a drawstring fastening. I have no idea what happened to it, but I'm happy to say that I don't have it in our house!
