Meeting place

The 365 meet up in London today was at Liverpool Street station. This statue is within the station outside McDonalds where we all met up. It is entitled 'Children of the Kindertransport'. It is a memorial 'In gratitude to the people of Great Britain for saving the lives of 10,000 mainly Jewish children who fled from Nazi persecution in 1938 and 1939.'
