Sequin Edging.....

.....or at least that is what these little rain droplets look like! Fine rain this morning, what my mother would have called "missle", though this word isn't actually in the dictionary, I assume it is misty drizzle! Anyway it added to the beauty of these petals!
My Father in law used that word, I always thought it was a West Country saying.

Lovely photo. A sure fav. Is that another beauty from your garden? How I envy you folks your Dahlias. I also admire you mom's vocabulary. She was just ahead of her time. If we all use that delightful word, someday Mr. Webster's minions will catch up to her.

@carole_sandford Lucky you. I took some Dahlia photos at the Public Market at Seattle when I was there. No rain or due on the edges though. That's strictly a British special effect.
