Now that the Red Arrows are no longer at RAF Scampton, we don’t see them so often. I read recently that they’re practicing at RAF Syerston - nearer Nottingham. There are not the same opportunities for watching & photographing. Although they moved to RAF Waddington, they haven’t and most likely will not get the required permission for low level flying. Waddington is too busy for that sort of shenanigans!
So, imagine my surprise when I heard a familiar noise in the sky as I was getting into my car in a local Co-op car park. I quickly grabbed my phone - not the best ( you do need a decent big lens), but I was pleased to see them!
