More from yesterday. This is the Armed Forces Memorial, which is nationally funded (all the other installations are funded by the individual corps units regiments, squadrons et etc. Services of Remembrance are held here. At the back is the obelisk that i refer to in my other picture for today. On the walls are rolls of honour from previous wars & campaigns.
This reminds me of The Washington Monument in Washington D.C. I guess it is a common style of memorial and no matter where it is, it brings honor to the ones it represents. Great shot!
