To mark this anniversary, the last flying Avro Lancaster did a Fly past of all the old Bomber Command Royal Air Force Stations in Lincolnshire. This was it just about to fly over the former RAF Faldingworth, just down the road from us.
Beautiful capture of this vintage plane. However when I remember stories from WWII and so many millions of people killed in the war my mind goes to asking "who knows how many people were killed during aerial raids by thic beautiful craft?"
Wow great timing!
