The old moat at Buslingthorpe. Quite a few hundred years ago there was a Manor house surrounded by a moat here. Only part of the moat still exists & the small now unconsecrated church. There are a few houses & a farm. I think the village “died off “ due to people moving to nearby towns over the years, rather than the usual disease.
