For over 10 years you've been my companion, following me like a shadow all day. You had this calming presence that made us feel home wherever we were with you. You had been our protector to Chance and I when Gary was away traveling. You loved our walks and you enjoyed running freely and sniffing at our new lot. But most of all you were crazy about the play times with Shoney and Gary, every morning without fail after breakfast. You died today in my arms. I didn't expect you, so healthy and so strong to die so soon. Shoney misses you. You've left such a painful hole in my life.

Oh no. What a wonderful tribute to him, but such a sad occurrence. So sorry for your loss. Animals have a way of sneaking in so close to our hearts, it hurts so much to lose them.
Oh, I'm so sorry over your loss. He sounds like the perfect companion. He must have lingered knowing how much you would miss him, but in the, restfully left your arms. I join with all the others in hoping that such good memories will help the sorrow and bring joy when you remember him.
My deepest condolences Corinne. There are few things in this world that hurt more than losing one of our beloved pets. I like to believe there is a Rainbow Bridge and they will be waiting on the other side to be reunited with us again some day!
My heart breaks for you Corrine. Chief was a gorgeous boy, as you showed through your wonderful photos of him. I know he was comforted at the end to be with the people he loved best. My very deepest sympathies.

Oh Corrine, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know first hand how hard it is to lose a beloved pet. They very much become part of the family and losing them is so difficult. My heart goes out to you.

I feel your heart-ache, so sorry to hear your sad news, my Charlie went a few weeks ago and he also has left a huge hole. He must have been a wonderful companion to you and your family.
