On the moor top

Grazing sheep and drystone walls are a feature of the North York Moors this was taken just above Commondale on a hazy day last week. The sheep keep the verges cropped like new mown lawns!!

An interesting shot - i was wondering what keeps the sheep off the road?

Such a lovely image. I, too, wonder how the sheep keep/ or are kept, away from the road.

A lovely shot. I do like to see the drystone walls, and it was good to see some of them being restored this year. Fav!

They seem to be car savvy from being babies they stay still when you pass, it’s very rare you see a injury.

They stay still when you pass, they seem to be savvy from watching theirs mothers. It’s very rare you see an accident and obviously you take care when you pass them.
