This discussion chain is to highlight the work of someone else and show a photo that you marked as +FAV (on the top of the screen) this week. Having people FAV your photo lets you know that what you did really connected with other photographers and for the new members, it really helps get that photo to the popular page. We do this post every week and it is a great way to see work you might of missed or find someone new to follow.
So find a fav from this week and include their user name and why you connected with this photo.
There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste. 5) If it is not your photo also tag the person who it belongs to so they know you love it (@name) remember no punctuation on either side of the @and name.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion
this one by @autumnseden for sure... my cat looks really similar to hers and is going through a bit of a rough patch with her health, so this kind of seriously tugged on my heart strings this week:
It was a tough choice but I had to pic this one by Cheyenne....I have a secret wish to photograph dancers/ballerina's and this one is just awesome.....
Thanks Shelly, really just had time for eating and sleeping this week, other than work and all that shit, so will catch up soon with what y'all have been shooting. I like that pic too, and I shouldn't, Got another shoot Sunday, and a date tomorrow. Mentally busy week. Hope you're well! Did i tell you I bought an Olympus OM1?
i am going to have to go with Cheryllee's photo @meadow
i really like the colors and shapes of the bottles, sitting in a line like that. Something unique and different. I also adored the crop and processing :)
I think this one by Jenn @shutterbugger Not only did she post this amazing photo, but took the time to post her set up to help out newbies like me. :) It inspired me to give it a shot today, and I think that says a lot about the capture!! Plus...it's a water shot and they're just tons of fun!
It's amazing how many shots I faved this week and a lot of them are already on the stream. But my favourite fav is this one from Tracy. I just love the perspective @frameit
This one by Nathalie because of so many reasons. One, it is a cracking shot. Two, it was the first time someone had faved one of her shots and now I daresay it is the first time she has had a photograph in this thread and three, I like to help promote the newbies from time to time. But mainly because I was drawn to the shot. @nfm33
@pwallis@kjarn - Thank you Paula and Kathy A! I'm chuffed. I think being part of this thread is quite special. There is more honesty in being chosen by your peers rather then the monkeys (although I do have some spare bananas for those guys). Thank you :D
@brumbe Oh Paula, I am truly touched! And I am truly impressed by you ... you start discussions, you take part in challenges, you post great pictures (I love your spices series), you comment regularly and you remember personal things ... that means a lot to me, more than I can express with words. Thank you, Paula! You are Fav!!!
@peterdegraaff Thank you so very much, Peter. This is huge for me, even better than the PP, because you are a real person and not a MagicMonkey/algorithm thing. I tried to take another one for you today but the wind and the sun were too much of a challenge for my rudimentary skills and equipment. The weekend looks promising though. Again, muchas gracias!
@meisen325 Thanks for that Monica, I did know one was Venus as I have it in a lot of my westerly sunsets, but didn't know about Jupiter being so visible during March my image from 8th of March 2012 shows them clearly, thought it was just a star :P
My favorite fave is this B&W froggy shot from @dieter because it instantly inspired me to write this in my comment: "He's the Great Frog God sitting on the Heavenly Sky Leaf, looking down on all things earthy and wet, contemplating the severe weather changes on the planet." I like photos that get my imagination going like a runaway train!
this by @shadesofgrey - (i love how the English spell "grey" - the US way "gray" is kind of ugly to me) - i love the quality of the reds in this shot and how dreamy and mysterious it feels:
@terek55 and @louisefrance chose the same picture that I chose by @mummymorris. It just touched my heart. The care and concern flowing from the dog to the lamb is so precious!
This is by @woot -- it reminds me of a famous painting by Caillebotte that I think is called "Paris Street, Rainy Day".
@scrivna Again with the wholesale fashion. Not sure if it is too much work for you and it would take away the spirit of 365 but maybe there is a way to "approve" new accounts prior to them commenting.
Paul, I am deeply honored and touched that you chose my photo. I always forgot to check "notifications" before Ross installed that red flag, but I'm so glad I didn't miss this one. Thank you, my friend.
Oh - I had so many I loved last week, must have missed this thread! Faved some 'older' shots this week so the choice of recent ones is easier - thought the light on the water in Jeni @jenirainbow 's shot of moonlight was just beyond heavenly. And as for the blue....wow!
@shanne Thank you very much for your kind comment Shanne - I know that you know what you are talking about, so I ann very chuffed! I am sure the accordion player would be too.
