This discussion chain is to highlight the work of someone else and show a photo that you marked as +FAV (on the top of the screen) this week. Having people FAV your photo lets you know that what you did really connected with other photographers and for the new members, it really helps get that photo to the popular page. We do this post every week and it is a great way to see work you might of missed or find someone new to follow.
So find a fav from this week and include their user name and why you connected with this photo. Please don't forget to CREDIT their photo with the username!
There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste. 5) If it is not your photo also tag the person who it belongs to so they know you love it (@name) remember no punctuation on either side of the @and name.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion.
I had 28 favs this week, the most ever. Some amazing photography posted here in the last 7 days, but this magnificent image by @smallenburg is my absolute favorite of them all:
this was a tough one for me to pick just one this week, but I've got to go with this one from Beau @losthorizon for its originality and absolute coolness:
@rockinrobyn Thanks SO much Robyn! :) This one got lost in the "void" so it somehow didn't appear in the Top 20 this week, so I REALLY appreciate your note!
@grizzlysghost What a shame; it is up there high on my list of all-time favs! Maybe it's because you posted Tuesday -- even still, you had a lot of favs immediately on it.
Wow! What amazing shots!! This is a great thread, you get to see lots of shots you might never have seen otherwise. My favourite recently was this one by Margaret @ubobohobo , the little ones are so absorbed.... even the tiddler who you can hardly see!(his choice of book is interesting too...)
@lyno Thanks Lyn! I always enjoy this thread.
Here's one from Wendy Mason-Barrie. She's got some great ideas so far - can't wait to see what she comes up with next.
@grizzlysghost@jsw0109 - hey guys add me to the list of the ripped off - I had two pics that should have made Top 20 based upon total favs. Perhaps Ross has locked me out (and maybe you too).
@michaelelliott Haha, maybe so. Maybe there is a "Top 20" probation just like there's a PP probation! I do think you can't have any more than 2 in the T20 at any one time. Those silly monkeys; just can't figure them out! :)
@michaelelliott well, your radio city music hall shot is in MY top 20, its in my top 5 :) Your stormy looking sky shot will probably be in next week's list.
All of @kandernob photos are so sharp and impressive. This one is my favorite because it's one of my fav animals and I love everything about it! Nicely done Karen!
@grizzlysghost@jsw0109 - Thx guys. Yup we got the cuffs slapped on us for a bit. Oh well ... we all got plenty more where these came from right! The hell with it - Have a great weekend!
So, guys, that's why we have this thread every week. . .right?! You should see what your photos do to blow up my inbox every week from notifications here. And whatever happens with Top20, every once in a while it's kind of nice to let someone else "sneak" in. ;-P
Hi Lynn - you are a star keeping this thread going - is there any chance you could put the dates in your blurb - they fall off the end of the title and I'm never sure which ones are included? Thank you!
Not sure if it's the right week or not but I'm going with @wrighty
Hard to choose but I thought I'd pick one that didn't get very many views but is a great shot. I love the colours and composition in this one by @sullivan
"Water Monet"
Awesome shot by Jeff Walker @jsw0109 Composition, colors, and the dramatic sky make this a FAV for me!
Photo by Patricia Fletcher: Brilliant treatment of the subject of this photo by the use of B & W and the zooming! Well done
By Dana ( @butrfli )
by @kenny

@juliakan
@kevinjamesphoto
I love the clever use of bokeh and the contrast between the rustic wrench and the shiny lights. The composition, lighting and focus are all spot on.
This a photo of Bruni's....I just love the simplicity of them!
@worthon

the focus and viewpoint here is right on!
