Post your favorite photo of your own project from this week to share with those that may not otherwise see it.Lets also put WHY or WHAT about it you like.
There were some really great photographs last week. It is fun to see what you like of your posts as it is not always what everyone else chooses.
There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion.
This one because it got me onto the Popular Page for the first time in ages. The nice effect of this is that I got a few new followers and lots of great comments.
I only had a few minutes, and was already late for work, but had to make a quick detour to get this. Very happy with the outcome. As others have pointed out, it looks like the power of the sun splitting the tree.
I've found it hard to chose a favourite this week as I've had a good week photography wise and love them all! But I have chosen this one because it makes me smile....
Tough to pick this week because I like different ones for different reasons - some for technique and some for what is pictured. I am going with this one because this object is so special to me, and it represents such love which is the most special thing of all....
This one - I always enjoy lone tree shots and sunset shots and almost didn't see this as I was driving away from the setting sun and just turned around to look at the right moment. Also because it's SOOC.
@cimes1 What a pity that I can only show a common pigeon on a wire. You have a grand raptor it seems. But I thought it was fun that I swear he winked at me!
Really like how this one turned out. I think the blue and brown work well together. Not 100% on the framing though, think I could've cropped it slightly better.
Was really pleased with this quick one from earlier in the week - love the repetition that is then broken by the half seed near the top. Not bad for 6 minutes work from camera out to uploaded either!
this one, because I took what we normally try to avoid having in our photos and made it the sole subject and managed to capture it in an artful beautiful way thanks to the fog.... oh, and its SOOC:
i was really pleased with this shot. it was the first time i'd managed to get my crappy camera to focus up close and blur out the background and produce some lovely autumn bokeh :)
This was my all time favourite shot of the 16,000 I took when I lived in PNG so has to be chosen for this thread. This could also be subtitled "how to stalk a bird without using a bird-hide". I saw this colourful chap one morning go from tree to perch to tree and was told that he would do the exact same tomorrow morning as he was a bird of habit. So the next day I waited, ready and aimed at this perch for him to fly by. And he did. I had a brief moment to fire off a few shots and then he was gone again. I giggled like a little girl.
Ladybug was annoyed by the camera flash and it opened its orange shield under which the retractable transparent wings were tucked and flew away. It was amazing to watch!
This is my very good friend, Binta........this is my fav of the week because i "snuck" this pic of her for my own satisfaction.......knowing that i would be doing a long photo shoot of her with all very cheesy posed portraits - which does not excite ME as much as the candids do!
because I have been enchanted with the beauty I keep finding in what I used to think was the "dried up browns" of late autumn - and because I keep learning a tiny bit more in Photoshop as I move along.
I am very patriotic and being that it was Veteran's Day I wanted something to emphasize patriotism. We hear so many times on the news of another life being lost in the war on terror that we become unaffected by it after time. To see some of the names, etched in glass, of those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom has a more lasting effect.
Mine would have to be this one... It's my favorite for the week because it shows how much some people care about our vets and how they honor them with displaying our flag proudly. I also like it because I managed to capture the depth, which is what I was going for.
This one because she means the most to me and I like the idea that it was a mirror image of a selfie from the other day which led to this shot being titled my other half
This turned out to be my favorite, because I was not sure, if it is a good idea to include the barbed wire, that could disturb the atmosphere. But later at home I decided it works well - like adding new spices to a soup.
Austrian, Jasmin Ouschan, was the Womens Professional Billiard Association (WPBA) winner. She beat out Ireland's Karen Corr. I am proud of this shot of Jasmin.
With my little point and shoot, I didn't think I'd have a hope of shooting anything usable from the eclipse of the sun we had this week Downunder. We also had very cloudy conditions, not the best for an eclipse. So I was very pleased when I got a chance to snap this one during a momentary break in the clouds.

This place has an epic feel, always different and I don't tire of taking photos there

This month's challenge is all about what I am thankful for.
because it was a one in a million shot with the migratory-birds in it! :)
I don't do a lot with people, especially lately, and it's a different way of showing the artist's work through the interaction of someone else.
For so many reasons...
Working on my project! :)
This one - I always enjoy lone tree shots and sunset shots and almost didn't see this as I was driving away from the setting sun and just turned around to look at the right moment. Also because it's SOOC.
because I love this place, those rocks in the mist are where I grew up.
Because it was a chance to practice shots of people, and I wanted to capture something fitting for Rememberance Day - this met both criteria for me!
Because I like it :)
Really like how this one turned out. I think the blue and brown work well together. Not 100% on the framing though, think I could've cropped it slightly better.
because I find bokeh to be a challenge.

It was the end of a long day out with my best pal and I had a gut feeling that one last wander onto the beach might just end up in a good shot!
liked this one because of the great colors and of course I like to shop, just like this moose!
This one was my favorite because it makes me chuckle every time. It also reminds me of all the wonderful sights and memories I saw and made that day.
Ladybug was annoyed by the camera flash and it opened its orange shield under which the retractable transparent wings were tucked and flew away. It was amazing to watch!
Because it combines the cool 3D effect of the projection and my drawings which I want to do more of.
the reflection, the lushness in the reflection and the peaceful pose of the woman just all came together so well...
I just loved how the bird were all lined up ready for a fly in feed.
one of the few times i shoot in manual so was really pleased with the result
Oh, and because the lighting came out well.
I like it because I like Skylanders and my friends and I play four square almost every day.
This one because she means the most to me and I like the idea that it was a mirror image of a selfie from the other day which led to this shot being titled my other half
Mainly because I love to listen to my wife play the piano and she doesn't do enough of it in my opinion.
This one of my son
Purely because I think it is adorable! :)
