So, what's your favourite photo over the past week, between 30 April and 6 May?
You can post your favourite photo by copying and pasting the code from the 'Share' box that's in your photo page, together with info on when it was taken. Part of the challenge is only selecting ONE picture, so no cheating!
My fav is this fabulous guy with his funny feet - he's such a gentleman. So far he has been brilliant around me, with his little swanlets, and hasn't been aggressive once. I thought his complaints and wing expansion was at one point, but since have seen that this is his 'off the nest' order to wifey swan, who he gets to take a break. She's fairly stubborn, so he needs to be firm with her. He's such a character:
@mikhasus -May I ask what editing software you use? I was trying to find something very similar to this effect online a few days ago and couldn't find anything.
just when I worry I won't be able to take a shot as good as some I have taken I seem to find one...this shot was totally worth waking up incredibly early for
I made it to the popular page for the first [and second!] time ever this past week. Neither of those shots were my favorite for the week though. I like this one of my daughter about to kiss a caterpillar the best :)
The one I took on the 4th of May. I loved it when I took it, and it appears that lots of you like it as well 'cos it got me onto the PP for the first time, so thank you!
I have been very happy with a few pics this week, including selfies which astounds me!
But this just was so fun to shoot and made me all gooey with her cuteness!
I was so torn between two photos.. The photo I am posting is from earlier in the week. This shot has grown on me. But the other is one I uploaded yesterday.. Which leads to to thinking I might challenge myself to incorporate both somehow in a different photo..
My favorite of the week was actually taken yesterday. Not only is it my favorite because of the subject matter, but I really love the composition and a feel of this one.
Looking through these amazing pics this week I'm not sure about posting mine! I took a few fun shots but I think I'm going for this one because it was a quick P & S shot and unprocessed bar a slight tweak of contrast.
I pick this one because I was able to snap all the photos in a row because I am using a better camera. Mine just has to take time to pause between each photo but thankfully my bro-in-law is letting me borrow his Nikon.
This shot taken on my wedding anniversary is my fave.... I know it is a little cliched, and once you hang around 365 for a while you see certain shots - but I wanted to challenge myself 1) to do it, and 2) to put my own spin on it.
I had a good chuckle creating this one... & it was done via my phone, so I'm quite pleased with the editing... Be warned: story content & subsequent follow up image not so kiddie friendly...
I think this is my favorite from this past week. I posted a lot of nature close ups this week for the theme. But this one stuck with me more because of the quote that inspired the editing.

It has been a great week for photos for me - I feel like I could have picked any one of my shots from the 30th to the 6th. That does NOT happen very often, so I'll savour it this time around :)
I'm going to choose this one. It's just different from the close-up type photo that I usually find myself taking, and maybe it could be cooler if I knew more about photoshop, but I think it came out pretty neat.
I practiced my panning technique at my son's track meet and then started this discussion , http://365project.org/discuss/critique/5951/panning-critique-advice#comment-158834 . So I attempted it again and I got this photo which was a big improvement.
and this one
This turned out alright!!!
But this just was so fun to shoot and made me all gooey with her cuteness!
It was my birthday and I got a new lens ~ this was one of the first pictures I took and really like it! My favourite this week.
This one is just so excellent.
I was really happy with how this macro shot of the beaters of my electric cake mixer turned out!
This one as it is sentimental.....
