52 Week Challenge 2024!!

December 31st, 2023
Happy New Year’s Eve everyone!

I hope you’ve all had a lovely Holiday Season, and as we hurtle towards 2024, you’ll be delighted to know that the shiny new list of Capture52 prompts is here 😊

For those who are new to this challenge, Capture52 is a year long challenge with a weekly prompt designed to inspire you and introduce new techniques and subjects that you might not have considered before.

There are no winners, no losers, no judges and no prizes; it’s all just a bit of fun. If you’d like to be tagged for a reminder of the weekly prompt, leave me a comment below and I’ll add you to the list.

If you’re wondering how and where this all started – It started off as the 52 Week Challenge, or the Dogwood Challenge, originally devised by Dale Foshe of Dogwood Photography. In 2019, Dale stepped back and two members of the Dogwood community, Justine Solomano and Alison Crea, reinvented it as the Capture52 Challenge.

As always, massive thanks to Alison & Justine for coming up with the list of prompts, and for graciously allowing us to follow along here on 365. If you’re on Facebook, do join the Capture52 group – it’s a lively, positive group for all photography types and skill levels.
