There are so many Tuis around at the moment in Queenstown and their song is beautiful. I was intrigued with this photograph. Through my lens I saw the bee buzzing quite close to the tui. I'm pretty sure he was just annoyed by it and killed it. They mainly eat nectar from native trees and flowers - although I think they have been known to eat insects.
