14th January 2021

Day 302 since the start of the 1st lock down.

It was such a wet and grey day today. I spent most of my time starting my annual card count. This is a bit of a challenge as my unsold Christmas cards are still out in three branches of Waterstones, the Landmark Centre and Orleans House. At least I have had a count from The Card Collection in Molesey so I can invoice for the sold ones (over 200). I have counted all the Christmas cards I have and need to crack on with the local greeting cards.

We were supposed to go out for a trot in Bushy Park but due to the dire weather, yet again we bottled out with a promise to ourselves that we will do it tomorrow morning as we will be at the Greenwood Centre tomorrow evening for Colin to get his vaccination.

I did brave the weather to stock up on supplies which are getting low including milk and some other things so I could knock up another Thai curry with some old turkey that has been in the freezer for over year - it was very nice! This is the wet view down Watts Lane towards the High Street on my quick trip to M&S. It is pretty deserted and there were not many people in the shop either so people seem to be heeding lock down warnings.

Later in the evening I logged onto my photo club Zoom session. The lecture was OK, not brilliant but it was really nice to see my friends again. One person who is usually very dapper is now sporting a ponytail!
I love the blue reflected light. I used to live in the next (I think) road to this one - Wades Lane.

@jantan What a coincidence and you are absolutely right, Wades Lane is the next one along. We live in Cambridge Crescent but have access from our back garden into Watts Lane which made for a much quicker rush to the station when I used to commute into London for work!
