24th November 2021

1 year, 235 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020.

First thing this morning we headed to Ashstead to see Colin’s genealogist Elizabeth whom we’ve not seen for nearly 3 years! It was really nice to see her and during our break she has had almost the entire house remodelled which now has a stunning open plan kitchen with bifold doors.

On our way back we diverted via Kingston as I had to deliver the chosen cards and a small selection of Christmas cards. I should be happy as I am finally back in Waterstones in Kingston but sadly with a reduced range from 48 to 18 designs.

In the afternoon Colin gave me a hand getting my spinner and racks out of the loft and putting in the unwanted spinner from Twickenham away. I designed and made up a new header board and using the new frames which arrived after less than 48 hours since order, I framed up 4 montages for my show in December. These frames are so much better than my previous supplier and much easier to use. It was almost a pleasure!
