20th December 2021

1 year, 261 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020

It is my youngest sister Sophie’s birthday today - I hope she liked the presents as I did not here from her at all!

Things to do today - first of all over to Card Collection in Molesey to deliver yet more Christmas cards, then back to Fulwell to pay the revised bill which is now £100 less so we made a small profit. We had some lunch and it is very noticeable that less and less people are going out now.

Afterwards we stopped via Squires to pick up a sack of bird food and some ‘presents’ for Harry the Border Collie and Teasel the Border Terrier. Our final stop was Tescos but unfortunately the excellent Prosecco offer had finished yesterday which was annoying.

As soon as I got back I resized the box I had collected from Card Collection and packed up Sophie, David and Isabelle’s Christmas presents to send to Mum’s in case we do not get down in time to see them before they leave. There was a very long queue at the Post Office but half an hour later and £26.75 lighter on the wallet they are on their way.

In there afternoon I finished off the parcels with bows and I have to say I am pleased with the look overall. Tags to be written tomorrow. Todays photo is a glimpse of the parcels.
