This morning our friend Dave Cox ‘FaceTimed’ us with the dramatic news that he is now recovering from a heart operation. Apparently it was all very unexpected and it sounds like he is lucky to be alive and all thanks to the quick thinking and care of his friend. That was quite a shock but he does look well which is a relief.
Later today it rained torrentially, so much so that many roads were flooded on my way to photo club in Kew. When I did eventually get there it was all a bit of a disaster as the chap who operates the laptop was could not get it to work with the projector and it was all rather embarrassing with the judge who had travelled some way. We worked out a work-around which basically meant we didn’t have any projected images - oh dear.
Todays image is of three Apache gunship helicopters. It is not that unusual for one or two to fly over as we are on the helicopter flight path but more unusual for three. Perhaps they are practicing for the upcoming Coronation?
