It was a lovely day today so after yet more paperwork, we walked out to Bushy Park which I have not visited for a number of months. The horse chestnuts are coming out nicely although sadly it seems that there will not be a Chestnut Sunday again - I get the impressions that those days are over now.
We walked in the Pheasantry and I saw for myself how bad the new railings look - awful. However the bushes are now coming into flower and made for love reflections in the pond. I also tested out my new birding app and it identified seven different birds in less than two minutes.
Big news this evening - I had popped upstairs when Colin called me back downstairs as he had caught sight Mr Huffkins looking out of his house. I saw him as well and he even popped out to explore and collect some food while we were there. This is a good sign and slightly ahead of where Pingado was when we first got him.
