We really got into planning our trip to France (for September) today as Coin had skipped off golf because of the high temperature. I think I’ve identified accommodation for our four stops along the route from the Loire Valley to the Britanny coast - St Malo, Mont Saint, Michel and finally Bayeaux and Honfleur.
In the afternoon another storm hit but this time it was heavier rain thanI think I have ever seen in the UK. Rain and hail thundered down resulting (we discovered later) in not only flooding the garage but also making a number of holes in the little plastic greenhouse that Colin has. The roads were flooded and it made the news.
