Cowbird

The cowbird is a lazy bird that lays its eggs in the nests of more than 220 reported host species, thereby relinquishing parental duties.
It was lightly raining when I took this shot - but then, it always is lately!

Sorry to read about your weather, same here, rain, wind and then today the sun popped out for abit. Interesting info about this bird, we have a bird called the cuckoo, it comes to the UK on migration and it behaves in exactly the same way!
