It's lovely to see our rose bushes developing new growth. I know roses are not too popular in gardens now, but I like them. Quite a few of the ones we have were grown from cuttings by my dad. He had a fantastic display in his garden, and I particularly liked the pink Queen Elizabeth roses.

I had a short walk to the pharmacy earlier, and back through our local park which opened today for the first time since the lockdown began. It was wonderful to see the progress that all the plants there had made.

William, most of our roses aren't scented, but there is one with small pink flowers that is quite strongly scented.
