On Sunday, we took a drive in search of some fall color. We headed to South Lake Tahoe, then turned off to Hope Valley. We saw Markleeville, an old mining town, Heenan Lake and turned around at Monitor Pass, 8314 feet in elevation. A nice day and outing.
