Trawling my Melbourne photos again!
I have no idea how I'm going to provide anything interesting sitting on my backside with a leg in plaster!
Arms & tummy sore today......I think I am too old for crutches!
I managed to go to the dinner dance last night & enjoyed it very much!
On the way we had to detour to A&E for a shot of anti coagulant in my stomach. The nurse rang up apologising that she had forgotten to give me one in the morning. Got a supply for every night for a few days.
Three good things:
1. So many good wishes & kind thoughts singing my way from all you lovely 365 friends. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
2. Harry is so good looking after me fetching & carrying, he must get fed up soon!
3. iPads for keeping in touch with everyone!
Another great shot. Like the ab sailor in this one. I hope you have a few good books on stock. And go through all those photos. Keep up the good work Harry.
Poor you Pat. Crutches are tricky until you get used to them and by the time you have got used to them you won't need them.
I for one am happy to see more photos of your holiday.
Take care of yourself.
A super shot ,but I do not know if I like the scene -- reminds me of the old song "the shady lady down a shady lane "!! Pat I am sure you have plenty of holiday photos to keep us happy with while you concentrate in getting better ! Make the most of having your foot up and a good book or two to read !
Pat, I've been on hiatus for a while so just spent time looking at previous photos of yours. I'm so sorry about all the problems you have encountered and trust you will be more mobile SOON! I enjoyed all your graffiti captures.
Pat I am so sorry to hear of your mishap. I am a bit late in sending you good wishes for a speedy recovery. I'm sure it must be very painful, be careful on those crutches! Good for you getting out to the dinner dance!
Love this...something about graffiti!!! So sorry about your leg!!! I missed what happened but did see you photo on FB. Hope you will heal quickly, I know how busy you always are!
Just keep the Melbourne ones coming Pat I love them. I've stolen the links Babs sent to you as well. If we get any more rainy days I'll need them!. Hope the leg isn't too painful and you get a better cast today. Perhaps one of those magic walking boots people seem to wear these days.
Good to here you managed to go to your dinner dance... although I suppose it was more just dinner for you with no dancing. Glad Harry is taking care of you - you need to give yourself time to heal properly - ankles can be a swine if they don't heal right.
@onewing A very interesting site Babs, thank you very much for that! Gives you a bit of a challenge & I will be keen to try once I feel more up to it! Still got holiday ones which is great as I feel a bit challenged by just getting around that to think of something else at the moment is too much.
Off to fracture clinic this morning so will be hoping for a better cast.
Lovely capture with the striking blue flash in the middle. Can I suggest a capture of graffiti drawings on your plaster, or trying to have a one legged shower.
I think it won't matter if you can't find anything to post that would suit yourself! It must be difficult and you can't even stand up beside a table a photograph something on it each day,! Can you? Enjoy the TV while you are immobile!

I am sending you a couple of links for photography ideas while you are stuck at home.
