My young B&B guy who I have had staying over the last few nights.
I asked him at breakfast this morning if I could take his photo for a project I was doing. I explained about lenses & DOF so I sounded very professional so he gladly agreed.
From a family farm near Edinburgh he is doing a course at the local agricultural college two days a week.ji
Over 6.3"" he had to duck down through every one of our doors!
A delightful young man who will return later in the month. All I could smell in his room when he left was aftershave & toothpaste & believe me sometimes it's very different!
I did not tell him that you all wanted to have a look!! 🤣
Three good things:
1. I discovered I had lost my debit card when I went to the shops this morning. Had to think back where I had used it last. Tesco & blow me if they didn't have it in a cash tin behind customer services! I take my hat off to you Tesco!
2. It's gone from really cold windy weather this morning to a warm sunny afternoon.
3. My friend has borrowed the third book by Jo Jo Moyes called Still Me & she's finished it so I'm reading it before it's due back at the library.
A lovely portrait - there will be no stopping you now Pat - shots of all the B&B guests! Jack looks a really charming young man - you should show him his 365 photo!
What a charming young man with a lovely smile and wicked twinkle in his eyes -- A lovely homely portrait Pat . and a beautiful composition !
So glad you found your debit card with out too much palaver , but really makes your heart stop for a moment ! , FAV
Another Jack! You have got good light on his face with no nasty shadows. And the background is nice and bright. Regarding projects and DOF etc - its all true!
Thank you all for your nice comments about Jack, my first & probably last B&B portrait! Thank goodness he was very willing but I would find it daunting to ask anyone else! A prime captive group but I wouldn't want to think they were obliged to have a photo taken!
So relieved about my card too, you can never be too careful these days especially with that handy but rather dangerous swipe option, you could take quite a few £30 withdrawals!
@judithg Yes I hav Judith, fantastic books, I loved it! Never read a decent one since! I got three books out of the library yesterday, all rubbish! Tried each one yesterday & didn't get beyond first copule of chapters. Picked in a hurry & I can tell.!
