BBQ.....trying hard to feel summery!

Not that warm tonight but we lit the fire & made the best of it.
Food was good, company was good & the fire was hot & not too smoky but must say we retreated indoors about 8.30pm.
We are nothing but undaunted at our weather!

Three good things:
1. I got my kindle going again ready for my hoilday. It was a bit reluctant to start with...updating quite often & rather sluggish but OK now.
2. I gave got a few samples uploaded so I can choose a good few books to read.
3. Kebabs!

Looks very welcoming even if you did have to have your cardi's on ... My lot give me a hard time when I 'force' them outside regardless of the weather .. makes a nice atmosphere with a crackling fire..

@julzmaioro Must say I'm not a big fan of eating outside but the fire was warm! Harry loves a BBQ so he was happy & did all the cooking!

You're not British till you've had a picnic in the rain or sat outside in the cold in Summer! What are we like, eh? But I have played cricket in the pouring rain, picnicked in the rain, wind and cold - even in the snow! We are a weird bunch but we're happy :) Your lot look happy too!

It looks deceptively warm in this shot but looks are deceiving I'm sorry to say even though Harry has bare arms, he always has his sleeves up!

@busylady Yes if you have a kindle you can download free samples of about three chapters to see if you like the book before purchasing. It's a great bonus of having a kindle. I'm off to NZ to see family Judith.
