Such a beautiful afternoon & it felt more like Spring than ever!
Census day today.
Three good things:
1. I had a walk past the bungalow but couldn’t get past the builders gates. I know the combination but neither Harry nor I can lift them out of the holes. Sue next door let us in her back garden & we climbed through the hole in her hedge that the fencer is filling up. He got so much done yesterday!
2. I sat out in our little courtyard for half an hour in the sun with my book.
3. I’m reading A Year of Marvellous Ways by Sarah Winman that Cathy bought me for Mother’s Day. A Richard & Judy book it’s beautifully written, the words & descriptions are lovely.
Well, at least you know your house is secure if you couldn't get in with the security code. ☺
It looks like a perfectly gorgeous spring day in your part of the world.
Beautiful. I think you're further ahead than we are down here. Your book sounds more uplifting than my last read which was rather harrowing. One of our book group members even declined to discuss it!
@busylady Oh dear that sounds a rather miserable book Judith. Miraculous Ways is quite a strange book but beautifully written. Miraculous Ways is the name of the woman....different!!
@judithg Yes warmer today Judith....lovely walking in the sun. Yes a good book I think, I didn’t think I would like it at the start but it’s lovely once you get into it!
We have a pink Camélia which is a little over 2 metres, a gift from local friends when we moved here. It's prolific...has been in flower for over a month. Whilst the earlier blooms are still attached, they're wilting a little...so they've had a good innings. Hope you too have a protracted innings with yours ;-)
.
Only grey skies here today and cold...
It looks like a perfectly gorgeous spring day in your part of the world.
Our Camellia still has it's fleece cover on as we could still have chilly days!!
Our skies continue to be grey with very little warmth, roll on spring
