We walked through Green Park yesterday & as you can see it was such a glorious day, this park was just a stunning oasis in the middle of Piccadilly & The Mall.
This little group of children were having lessons outside in the shade.
Although it was hot in Lancashire yesterday it was boiling in London...I think the buildings absorb the heat.
London is lovely for a visit but not so sure I could cope with that pace of life all the time!! I think it was the noise more than anything, we are used to the quiet life but I do think it is a very exciting place to be !!!
I agree with your thoughts about London, I live in Glasgow but we can see the hills and mountains they are so near. You are right, this park is a stunning oasis!
Ha ha - how can you not want to live here all the time!? The traffic fumes, the crowds of impatient people, the litter!? Ah but we do have lovely parks though - this is one of my lunchtime haunts. And I'm not sure, but have you managed to capture a London plane tree in the foreground?
I do agree the parks are so beautiful & green & amazingly quiet ! I do envy Londoners the access to all museums, concerts & history you have on your doorstep & could probably happily live in London for a good while but would have to get divorced first as Harry is a country man !!! Have I captured the plane tree, I hope so !! They were very pretty !! We have the litter & impatient people here too Isla but not the traffic fumes !
