Wahay New Zealand are in the Rugby World Cup final against France next Sunday !!! The All Blacks played brilliantly this morning beating The Wallabies...a good team !
Our eldest son & daughter in law were in Eden Park to watch them all dressed in their NZ strip. New Zealand is absolutely rugby mad so there will be great excitement next week ! Last w/e we actually saw Anthony & Jo sitting behind the NZ bench waving their flag !!
We are very happy that our second country has got this far & if England can't win it's the next best thing !!!
Harry & Lynn who is an overspill from the dining room B&B are watching in the kitchen.
My sister who is married to a quarter Maori ays she can relax again for another week - everybody is happy! How exciting getting tickets to two games (and being on the telly!) - are they going to the final?
Doing what men love to be doing!! I must tell you tho, Pat, that I love the way that your home appears so warm and welcoming in photos. It's just lovely and this capture is a beautiful composition. Wonderful!!
@judithg Yes I know how your sister feels it is so important to New Zealanders ! No neither son is going to the final...the tickets are very dear, each son has been to two matches.
We were watching last night Pat - of course, barracking for the poor old Wallabies! Great game by the all blacks - we didn't even look like a challenge. I'll be barracking for NZ next week now too though. If we couldn't be in it, then we'll go for our wonderful neighbours.
@murnane Yes really thought the wallabies hadn't quite got into their stride but i think the best team won !! You are very kind about your neighbours !!! As for England the least said !!!!!!!!
@peggysirk Thank you Peggy ! @phil_howcroft It's strange looking at the screen & knowing your family is 24000 miles away but in the stadium you are watching !!
@barbsmith Thank you Barb !! My daughter in aw sent me some NZ flag covers for my car side mirrors today & dared me to put them on !!!! I might post that on Sunday if NZ win the |Rugby World Cup !!
